Boerne (pronouced bur-nee) is a city in the Hill Country of Texas outside of San Antonio. It is the county seat of Kendall County. Boerne was named in honor of Ludwig Börne, a German author and publicist.  The town of Boerne was first settled in 1849 by German settlers. Our current pullulation is 12,000.  Boerne was named one of the top 50 best places to live by Forbes Magazine.

 

Endless things to do in Boerne, from  golf, horseback riding, swimming, tubing, fishing, shopping, rodeos, water skiing,  an afternoon at the country club , trap shooting , or if  you would refer a day a a Texas Trophy Hunting Ranch.

 

Our day of shopping can vary from spending the day at BassPro Shop to the day at the Mall at La Cantera at Nordstroms to Old Navy or Market Days in Boerne.

 

How about a day with the kids, you can visit Six flags Fiesta Texas, Seaworld, or downtown  San Antonio Riverwalk.

 

A short drive from Boerne, you can visit Bandera, the Cowboy Capital, or go wine tasting in Fredericksburg.  Along the way you should stop and visit Luckenback where Willie and Boys spent there time.
